Parenteral rabies vaccination

In many countries vaccination of pets against rabies is compulsory especially in cases where animals are moved across borders. Rabies vaccines are usually administered to pet dogs at 12 weeks of age as part of the puppy vaccination program.

Description
Nobivac Rabies is an inactivated, adjuvanted vaccine against rabies, prepared in cell culture. This vaccine is highly immunogenic and offers complete protection that lasts at least 3 years.

Vaccination program
A single vaccination at 12 weeks of age will protect dogs for at least 3 years. If animals younger than 12 weeks are vaccinated for the first time interference with maternal antibodies is possible. These dogs should be revaccinated at 12 weeks or older.

Duration of immunity
Cats and dogs:3 years
Cattle and horses:2 years
Ferrets and foxes: 1 year

Shelf Life
At least 4 years at 2-8°C
